Stroke Percent To Survive What Percent Of Brain Stem Stroke Victims Survive?

What percent of brain stem stroke victims survive? - stroke percent to survive

My uncle had a stroke in the brainstem did not last long. He is now doing much better, but someone told us that survive, only 15% of victims actually. Is that true?

You're right that the prognosis is not very encouraging, after a stroke in the brainstem. But the fact that his uncle is a lot better now, it's certainly a good sign, since many patients do not improve at all.

Do not get crazy with percentages. Just being there for his family.

I wish you and your uncle, good luck.

20-30% of all stroke victims die, but I have a gross basis, including the attacks in the brainstem. The brain stem controls the main functions such as consciousness, respiration, blood pressure, heartbeat, articulation of language and much more. 70% - 80% survival is more accurate. No activity with the death of the brain stem brain.

I'll write again after a conversation with my husband / Dr. but I think the contrary, 85.4%. If I'm wrong, I'll write again.
