Upgrading Omnipage for Vista on Canon i560 printer and Canon LIDE 20 scanner? - canon scanners i560

I have problems with Windows Vista installed and OmniPage 4th He told me to install it with the old version, but says he) must be removed (old version, then remove it and told me to install the old software! I need this software to work inorder to print and scan. The old version is not compatible with Windows Vista and the usual work of Vista with Internet Explorer 7 Someone please help, 10 points to help me, the best and really solves the problem.

You will need to upgrade your OCR software which is Windows 7 compatible. Many latest versions of OCR software is compatible with Windows 7.

In recent PC Magazine review, it reviewed both the latest version of Omnipage and Finereader. FineReader got an editor's choice. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2355521,00.asp. The product also offer trial version that allow you to try before buy.

Finereader has a competitive upgrade program which you pay upgrade price instate of full price. I upgraded to Finereader 10 three months ago and it works very well.

Vista has problems with scanners, printers and other peripheral drivers. You can try and make an XP VMware virtual machine. There was a Yahoo news story today on issues related to Vista drivers. Link below.
